TrustMark strengthens consumer protection with new Board appointment

TrustMark, the UK’s only Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for home improvements, has strengthened its commitment to consumer protection with the appointment of Raj Kakar-Clayton, former Managing Director at Which?, as an independent Non-Executive Director.

 With over 25 years of leadership experience, coupled with a robust background in business and finance, Raj is a strong addition to the Board. His wide-ranging experience in consumer protection, quality assurance and delivering fair outcomes for homeowners across the home improvement and retrofit sectors, adds valuable expertise to the business.

 Raj is also an Associate Non-Executive Director at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and serves as guardian for wellbeing at the Trust. He previously spent a decade as Managing Director of Which? Endorsements and held a number of trustee and board roles in charities and purpose-led organisations. He is committed to using his board experience to provide constructive challenge and purpose-led oversight, helping organisations like TrustMark deliver better outcomes for consumers and stakeholders.
