These beautiful bathrooms feature wet floor showers in glass enclosures with high flow mixer valves, stylish sanitaryware and modern mobility aids, displayed in uber contemporary spaces which prove that accessible never has to mean clinical.
Four DFG-inspired bathrooms which demonstrate how to design a space specifically for people with living with Arthritis or Visual Impairment, undergoing rehabilitation following a Stroke, or requiring Wheelchair Access.
These rooms have been carefully designed using advice from the AKW Clinical Hub, which is home to free digital resources created in collaboration with industry experts including The Occupational Therapy Service, University of Worcester and Arthritis UK.
Two bathrooms that have been designed with existing Housing Association specifications in mind, which show how the AKW collection is suitable for a variety of bathrooms, no matter the available space, resident needs, government budgets or contractor timescales.
