Hampshire-headquartered Bargate has appointed Natalie Williams in the newly created role of marketing manager. Natalie will be responsible for managing the five-star HBF housebuilder’s marketing department, online and offline campaigns, marketing collateral and content creation to promote its live residential sites.
Last year, the multi-award-winning regional housebuilder – which was established in 2006 – launched its 100th development, unveiled a refreshed brand and new bespoke website. Bargate has defied complex challenges across the industry with consistent growth over the past five years. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of VIVID – Hampshire’s largest provider of affordable homes.
Natalie joins Bargate from the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes (NAAFI), where she was the marketing and PR manager. Prior to that, she enjoyed 10 years in media agency roles, together with a year out in industry, while obtaining her BA (Hons) in Advertising from Bournemouth University. Up until joining NAAFI in 2022, Natalie was an Account Director for Fareham-based Precision Creative and Media.
Andrew French, sales and marketing director of Bargate said:
“Appointing an experienced industry professional to head up our marketing department reflects the ongoing investment in the Bargate brand. Upgrading and aligning our brand positioning has been increasingly important in a challenging market, so that customers fully appreciate the legacy and commitment to excellence that is fundamental to each Bargate development and individual home.
“With a handful of highly exciting developments to launch, together with increased investment in design, ESG, customer experience and our strategic land portfolio, we’re set up for continued sustainable growth. Bringing Natalie on board is a great addition to our in-house team.”
www.bargatehomes.co.uk is the main interactive asset in Bargate’s comprehensive suite of marketing collateral. Natalie is tasked with coordinating activity across Bargate’s full development portfolio, including the roll-out of new look brochures, signage, digital displays, adverts, marketing suites and show homes.
Bargate’s refreshed brand focuses on modern heritage and timeless elegance. A capital B has become the housebuilder’s new logo emblem, with crisp imagery emphasising the importance placed on design, craftsmanship, and the commitment to enhancing the local landscape.
The new logo embraces Bargate’s heritage, featuring a bespoke font inspired by the architectural elements of the company’s porches. The identity extends into flexible design elements that reflect the individuality of every Bargate home.
Natalie Williams, marketing manager for Bargate, said:
“Joining the Bargate team in this new role is really exciting. The company is already well known for constructing prime developments in aspirational locations, designing beautiful spacious family homes that blend into their scenic surroundings, and the huge emphasis on the customer’s journey. I’m keen to tell the story of the hand-picked exclusivity of owning a Bargate home across a wide range of media platforms and interfaces.”
230 energy-efficient hand-crafted houses and apartments were handed over to customers before the end of the 2025/6 financial year. Bargate’s growth trajectory is supported by live planning applications equating to a total gross development value in the region of £460m.
As well as retaining a five-star rating in the annual Home Builders Federation (HBF) Customer Satisfaction Survey, Bargate also recently received a 2026 Gold Award from In-House Research, marking the eighth year running that it has triumphed in the prestigious national award programme.
The firm was one of the first SME housebuilders to join the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) Register of Developers, which offers our customers increased peace of mind and enhanced protection.
