Vistry, the UK’s leading provider of mixed-tenure homes, has completed the forward sale of 81 affordable homes at Holme Meadows in South Wokingham to VIVID, one of the South of England’s leading housing associations.
The 81 affordable homes are part of the 343-home Holme Meadows development, which is being delivered by Vistry and forms part of Wokingham Borough Council’s vision for over 1,400 new homes, alongside vital infrastructure, green spaces and community amenities at the wider South Wokingham strategic development location.
The forward-funded agreement will deliver a mix of affordable rent, social rent and shared ownership homes, helping meet local housing needs and supporting the creation of a balanced and sustainable new community.
Construction is currently underway at Holme Meadows, with the development set to provide high-quality homes alongside green spaces, community infrastructure and excellent transport links. The sale to VIVID reinforces Vistry’s commitment to accelerating housing delivery and increasing access to affordable homeownership and rental opportunities in the area.
