Not-for-profit housing group Orbit has promoted Andrew Hardy to the newly created role of National Land and New Business Director, supporting its drive to deliver 7,000 new and regenerated homes by 2030 and help tackle the UK’s affordable housing crisis.
Andrew has played a key part in Orbit’s land strategy and growing new homes delivery since joining Orbit seven years ago, most recently as Regional Land & New Business Director for the Midlands.
In his new role, Andrew will oversee land acquisition and planning applications across all of Orbit’s regions, the Midlands, East and South of England, and support the wider Orbit team with the design, planning and delivery of regeneration schemes.
With over 20 years’ experience in housebuilding, Andrew has also held development positions with Balfour Beatty Investments, Keepmoat and BPHA.
