The first detailed images of the new three and four-bedroom houses being built on the former Harold Wood Hospital site in Romford have been revealed.
Bellway Thames Gateway is building 96 new homes at The Comptons, one of the final parts of the redevelopment of the site, off Copse Avenue, on land that was no longer required by the NHS.
The development will also include affordable one, two and three-bedroom apartments, alongside communal gardens and play space, with some existing trees retained and complemented by new planting.
Ed Brading, Acting Head of Sales for Bellway Thames Gateway, said:
“We are making good progress with construction at The Comptons, and are looking forward to opening a sales office on site later this year.
Houses at The Comptons are highly energy efficient and each have solar PV panels on the roof to generate renewable electricity.
There’s currently a choice of three and four-bedroom designs available to reserve, with prices starting from £659,995. For more information, visit https://www.bellway.co.uk/new-
