VELFAC 200, VELFAC Ribo and VELFAC-In window systems share the same cohesive set of design features with clean, slim lines, flush faced casements regardless of opening style, and excellent thermal, acoustic and security performance.

All our window frames are distinctive and contemporary in construction, featuring high quality pine timber framing that brings a natural sense of warmth to a room. All systems also provide an aluminium external facing, which maximises the product lifespan with the minimum of maintenance.

VELFAC 200 – a Danish design classic

Danish design is known for its minimal aesthetic, with simple and clean lines. With its slim 54mm frame, VELFAC 200 is a perfect example of this. It makes it the ideal choice for new-build, contemporary style houses. The slim frame increases the ratio of glass, letting in 25% more light than standard windows, which can be a great conversation starter with prospective buyers.

The unique arrangement of the frame means sightlines are also identical for opening and fixed lights alike. This makes it possible to combine elements to create feature screens, offering an abundance of flexibility that enables housebuilders to create bespoke features.

VELFAC RIBO – conventionally classic

For a more conventional look, ideally suited to traditional British housing styles, VELFAC Ribo fits the bill. Its flush faced casement windows, with options for aesthetic glazing

bars, provide style solutions to suit most types of new-building housing. The frame can be divided with mullions and transoms, giving the option of different opening functions in the same element.

In contrast to VELFAC 200, the fixed and opening functions differ in appearance and are more akin to traditional style windows.

Two VELFAC Ribo options are available: VELFAC Ribo Alu Clad and VELFAC Ribo Wood, both featuring a 93mm sightline for opening lights, and 50mm for fixed. VELFAC Ribo complements all types of property, from the traditional to the more contemporary, and can provide a solution for properties if wooden exterior frames are a requirement of planning, where the all-timber Ribo Wood brings classical elegance.

VELFAC-In – inward opening

If inward opening windows are preferred to provide secure ventilation or solutions for purge ventilation on high-rise buildings, then VELFAC-In would be the choice. It features 93mm sightlines for opening lights, and 50mm for fixed, which matches the dimensions of the Ribo system, and means combining the 2 provides different solutions without affecting overall aesthetics. Inward opening windows can provide a tilt function for secure ventilation, and a sidehung turn-in function allowing easy cleaning from inside.
