Orbit has appointed Jeanette Hodges as Regeneration and Asset Management Director, as it reaffirms its commitment to regeneration and the long-term sustainability of its homes and communities.

Jeanette, who has served as Strategic Asset Management Director at Orbit since May 2024, takes on the expanded role as the not-for-profit housing group intensifies its focus, ensuring its homes continue to meet the evolving needs and expectations of customers and remain fit for the future, as part of its 2030 Strategy.

In her new role, Jeanette will guide Orbit’s investment decisions across its existing homes, strengthening the connection between long-term asset planning and the regeneration outcomes that matter most to customers, to help rebuild communities that better meet local needs.

Joining Jeanette’s team in driving this work forward, is Ed Tibbetts who joins as Regeneration Programme Director, transferring from Orbit’s Development division. Ed joined Orbit in September 2022 as Land and New Business Director. He brings significant experience in delivering affordable and regenerated homes and in developing successful communities in London and across the country. In this new role, Ed will lead the delivery of regenerated homes.

Jeanette brings nearly a decade of experience at Orbit, where she has held senior roles in Strategic Portfolio Investment and energy performance, and led large-scale transformation projects. Before joining Orbit, she held asset management and property leadership positions within the Utilities and Financial Services Sectors. A recognised thought leader on asset strategy and decarbonisation in the housing sector, she is a regular speaker at sector conferences and events.
