Housebuilder, Owl Partnerships has announced a bold vision for the future by appointing a new Managing Director and unveiling a refreshed brand identity.
Warren Bolton has joined the Tamworth-based housebuilder as its new Managing Director, bringing over 20 years’ experience in affordable housing including roles with Lovell, Barratt and Keon Homes.
“I’ve built my career by creating long-lasting, mutually-beneficial partnerships with clients, suppliers and colleagues, and believed this approach would fit well with the Owl ethos,” explains Warren. “Owl is ambitious. We aspire to be the most sought-after SME provider of housing in the Midlands and beyond, delivering 1,000 new homes a year. To me, this presented a compelling challenge and an opportunity to make a tangible and impactful difference. I’m excited to lead the team towards achieving these goals,” adds Warren.
One of Warren’s initial projects has been to undertake a brand refresh, including new logo, website and brochure, to reflect this new phase of growth.
Warren continues: “Owl Partnerships is a familiar name to many across the Midlands, and it’s the team’s dedication and hard work that has built this strong reputation. But we are now poised to truly accelerate and increase Owl Partnerships’ visibility.
“Our sector has just been given a huge boost and much-needed clarity with the announcement of the Affordable Homes Programme, meaning we can begin to tackle the challenge of delivering the government’s housing targets. With this certainty, we felt confident the timing was right to refresh our branding, strengthen our presence within the region and welcome a bright future!”
With seven developments currently underway delivering 300 homes in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire, Owl Partnerships is also due to launch a further four sites in 2025. Earlier this year, the Owl Group (which includes its private homes division, Owl Homes) delivered its 1,000th home in the Midlands.
“Reaching such a significant milestone is a huge testament to both the team and our strong partnerships,” says Warren. “People are at the heart of everything we do. I’m delighted this approach was just recognised with one of our site managers, Alan Hadley receiving an NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award. Alan was rewarded for his work on our scheme at Broadway Lane, Fladbury, meaning Owl Partnerships was the only affordable housing provider to win in the West region.
“This industry recognition is inspirational, and I want to ensure Owl continues to provide a thriving, nurturing workplace, especially for young people. As an industry we need to tackle the skills shortage and better promote construction careers; they offer variety, are well paid and hold fantastic long-term prospects. I’m proud to employ apprentices and growing this programme will be a high priority as we seek to achieve our goal of becoming a leading SME affordable housing developer,” concludes Warren.
