Spiral UK Celebrates Apprenticeships During National Apprenticeship Week 2026

Spiral UK is proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2026, the UK’s largest annual celebration of apprenticeships and skills, taking place from Monday 9 February to Sunday 15 February 2026.
Now in its 19th year, National Apprenticeship Week highlights how apprenticeships help individuals build rewarding careers, support businesses in developing future-ready workforces, and contribute to economic growth by addressing critical skills gaps.
For a number of years, Spiral UK has supported apprenticeships by welcoming at least one apprentice into the organisation each year. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured learning, apprentices are supported in developing practical, work-ready skills that prepare them for future careers.
Andrew Holland, CEO said:
“National Apprenticeship Week 2026 is an opportunity for us to celebrate the talent, dedication, and fresh perspectives our apprentices bring to our organisation. By investing in apprenticeships, we’re not only developing future skills but also creating meaningful career pathways that support individuals, businesses, and the wider economy.”
Managing Direction, Eric Nicholls said:
“Apprentices are the lifeblood of our business, and it is vital that we keep inspiring the workforce of the future and training them to be part of our highly skilled team.”
Over the years, apprentices at Spiral UK have progressed in a variety of ways. Some have gone on to long-term careers within the organisation, and others have completed short-term placements that provided valuable experience.
National Apprenticeship Week encourages employers, apprentices, training providers, and communities to celebrate the impact of skills development by sharing success stories and demonstrating how apprenticeships open doors to opportunity.
Apprenticeships continue to deliver measurable benefits across the UK. According to the Department for Education (October 2024):
  • 83% of employers report satisfaction with their apprenticeship programmes
  • 77% of employers say apprenticeships improve productivity
  • 86% of apprentices are satisfied with their apprenticeship
  • 88% of apprentices say their career prospects improved after starting
  • 94% of apprentices who complete their programme move into work or further training
  • Over 90% of learners are in apprenticeship providers rated good or outstanding by Ofsted

By continuing to invest in apprenticeships, Spiral UK remains committed to developing future talent, strengthening industry skills, and creating meaningful career opportunities.
