Stonewater appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Leading housing provider, Stonewater, has appointed Kirsty Spark to the role of Chief Financial Officer, who will join the organisation’s Chief Officer Group to lead on Finance, Governance and Assurance.

Kirsty currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at affordable housing provider Accent Group Ltd and is also a Board and Audit committee member alongside being Chair of Governance and Remuneration Committee of Leeds Federated Housing Association.

Kirsty says:

Since joining Accent in 2018 as Financial Controller, Kirsty progressed to Chief Financial Officer, playing a central role in one of the organisation’s most significant periods of growth and transformation. During her time with Accent she helped secure the organisation’s landmark £350 million bond, strengthened its long-term financial resilience. Alongside this, Kirsty led a broad corporate portfolio spanning Finance, People and Culture, Technology, Data, Governance, Risk and Assurance, helping Accent retain its G1/V1 regulatory ratings and Standard & Poor’s A credit rating while supporting the organisation through change.

Kirsty will take up her new position as Chief Financial Officer with Stonewater from 24 November 2026.
