Vistry exchanges contracts on 446-home development site in Hookwood, Surrey ,500 new Vistry, the UK’s leading provider of mixed-tenure homes, has unconditionally exchanged contracts for the purchase of a sustainable residential development site at Hookwood in Surrey, near Gatwick.
The scheme, which already benefits from outline planning permission, will deliver up to 446 high-quality, energy-efficient new homes, of which 45% will be provided as affordable housing. The development will also include a brand-new community facility of up to 1,500 sq. m and significant areas of open space.
Subject to Reserved Matters planning permission from Mole Valley District Council, Vistry anticipates a start on site later in 2026, with the first homes available in early summer 2027.
The site is owned by five principal landowners, represented by land agent Philip Stone and B.Yond Homes Limited, who promoted the scheme through planning. The land was marketed by Bob Hilder from Landpro Consultants/Land and Brand New Homes.
