Thanks to the durability and appearance retention of Wood for Life, Quick-Step is able to use a thin layer of PEFC traceable oak that helps to reduce its use of slow-growing timber. The core uses fast growing species such as spruce, or HDF made of recovered wood (from sawmills, forest management and roadside maintenance). Quick-Step wood flooring is available with a third-party verified EPD (EPD-UNI-20230478-IBC1-EN).
